Founded by Tim Bushnell (APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist) and James Moore, TBS Physio Chatswood is located inside FIT Health Clubs at Chatswood Chase, a premium, performance-focused facility. This clinic is open to the general public (you don’t need to be a FIT member).

We treat everyday aches and pains, gym and running injuries, and help you build strength, resilience, and long-term capacity, with access to world-class equipment for assessment and rehab.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Book your appointment

Book online via our booking link, or call 9999 9999 or text our AI booking agent.

2. Arrive at the Level 3 reception

Arrive at the Level 3 FIT reception (accessible directly from the rooftop carpark) and take a seat in the physio waiting area.

3. Touch-free kiosk

You’ll receive a text approximately 1 hour before your appointment with a link to our touch-free kiosk. Tap “Arrived” to let your physio know you’re here, and complete any required intake and consent forms digitally within the kiosk before your first appointment.

4. Assessment & clear plan

Your physio will meet you at reception and take you through to our clinic room within the club. Where appropriate, your session may extend onto the gym floor for guided rehab and technique work, then you’ll leave with a clear plan and next steps.

Do I have to be a member of FIT to book an appointment?

No. Everyone is welcome, this clinic is open to the general public.

What do you treat at Chatswood?

Day-to-day aches and pains, gym-related pain, running injuries, sports injuries, and strength-related issues. We also offer performance and longevity-focused testing and planning.

Who is performance testing for?

Anyone who wants objective numbers to benchmark health and longevity, track progress over time, and guide training, rehab, and load decisions.

I’m not sure what appointment to book, what should I do?

Book an initial physiotherapy appointment and we’ll take it from there.

How long are appointments?

Initial consultations are 45 minutes. Follow-up consultations are 30 minutes. If you need multiple areas assessed, book an extended consultation.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothing or activewear is best. We may need to assess movement and access the area being treated. If needed, we have shorts available in multiple sizes for you to change into.

Where exactly do I go?

Head to FIT Health Clubs (Chatswood Chase), Level 3 reception (rooftop carpark access), then take a seat in the physio waiting area.

What should I bring?

Any relevant scans, reports, referral letters (if applicable), and your private health card (physical or digital).

Is it covered by private health?

Yes. We have HICAPS in clinic and can process on-the-spot rebates for all major health funds. To claim in clinic, a physical private health card or digital wallet card must be available at the time of payment. If not, you can claim later using the invoice we provide.

How do we pay?

Payment is required at the appointment. Our HICAPS terminal is EFTPOS-enabled, so we can process all card payments (including American Express). If needed, we can also provide an invoice for payment by bank transfer.

What happens if I miss my appointment?

Missed appointments limit access for other patients. If you can’t attend, please contact us as early as possible, we have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy and late cancellations/no-shows may incur a fee.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes. We have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel during this time, it will involve a full session fee.
